I just wanted to post that quote. I've wanted to post it for a while now but I never got around to it.

This to me is just hitting the nail on the head! 

I hate hearing people say "I wanna get closer to God" or "I feel so far and so stagnant", even "I wish I was closer to God like so and so..."

I truly believe this! Intimacy with Christ is hard work! I believe with discipline comes desire. And I believe that there will ALWAYS be a time for disciplining our selves for that desire!

We are humans living on earth. That in and of itself is hectic. Our lives aren't simple, or completely consistent. There are going to be roller coasters and surprises, but we know God's got that in his hands! 

So if you, are struggling to get close to God or stay close to him, don't just complain about it! Make it happen!!! This is so heavy on my heart. I feel like a lot of people miss out on what God has planned for them in a season in their life because they wont just take the step out and pursue God!!

I am definitely preaching to the choir tonight!!
